The MS USB-RS485 converter is used to convert signals from a USB interface to a serial RS485 interface. The RS485 serial interface is a hardware module for systems that uses a two-wire line to transmit information in half-duplex mode. Up to 32 devices can be connected as standard (up to 256 on request) in an RS485 network.
